Cherry tomatoes 150 g

How to make a light salad without meat? Very fast and easy! First, prepare the necessary ingredients for the dressing according to the list. You can simplify the preparation by replacing homemade sauce with a ready-made store-bought one. I used olive oil, but any vegetable oil will do. If the honey is candied, melt it first. You can replace balsamic vinegar with any other: wine, apple or regular.

Wash the basil, dry and finely chop. Peel the garlic and finely chop it with a knife or pass it through a press.

In a bowl, combine olive oil, honey, mustard, balsamic vinegar, garlic, basil, salt and pepper.

Now prepare the main ingredients for the salad. You can use regular or cherry tomatoes. I have cherry tomatoes — they make the salad more beautiful. You can add or replace the vegetable part to your liking.

Boil the beans in boiling salted water for 3-5 minutes until tender.

Drain the beans in a colander and immediately place in a bowl of ice water for 3-4 minutes. This will keep it crispy and bright green in color. Then dry the beans.

Cut cherry tomatoes into halves. If you have a regular tomato, then cut it into slices. You need dense tomatoes. Soft fruits do not hold their shape well; during cutting and cooking, they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.

Wash the cucumber and dry it. Cut into cubes. The skin, if it is not rough, damaged or bitter, does not need to be cut off.

Wash the parsley, dry and finely chop. You can replace parsley with dill, green onions or other herbs to taste.
