Festive Bell Pepper and Bean Salad in 30 Minutes

Just 30 minutes, and the bright holiday salad is ready! My husband and I first tried this salad in a local cafe and we liked it so much that it became a regular guest on our table. It is very easy and quick to prepare. Select the amount of ingredients to your taste, I prefer it more or less equally, except for onions, of course. By the way, if you have time and desire, you can pickle the onions, it will also turn out very tasty. Help yourself!

Ingredients (3 portions)

Basic:

Onion 1 pc
Salt to taste
Ground hot pepper to taste
Mayonnaise 1 tbsp
bell pepper 1 pc
Ham 150 g
Green beans 150 g
Canned corn 150 g

Recipe instructions

For the salad we need green beans, bell peppers, onions, canned corn, ham, mayonnaise, salt and pepper.

Cut the green beans into pieces 2-3 cm long. Boil the beans in boiling salted water for 8-10 minutes until tender.

Cut the onion into quarter rings.

Place the finished beans on a sieve and plunge into ice water for 5 minutes (this is not necessary, but such an ice bath will help the beans retain their green color)

Cut the bell pepper into thin slices.

Cut the ham into small cubes.

In a salad bowl, mix cooled beans, ham, bell pepper, onion and corn. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix.
