Beef and Pickle Salad Delight

Simple, but very tasty. A real treat! A salad with beef and pickled cucumbers, reminiscent of Olivier salad in taste, is suitable for both a festive table and a daily meal. In composition it is much simpler than the famous salad, and in taste it is not inferior to it.

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make Salad with beef and pickled cucumbers? Prepare all the necessary products. Take fresh, chilled beef — there is much less benefit in frozen products. I use marbled beef — it has streaks of fat and the meat is not dry at all after cooking. The eggs are large, preferably homemade, or at least CO. Pickled cucumbers, which, however, can be replaced with pickled cucumbers. All products must be fresh and refrigerated.

Step 2

Step 2
Boil the beef, add a little salt to the water at the very end. The cooking time depends on the size of the piece; on average, 500 g of beef requires about 30 minutes of cooking, although the longer this time, the softer the finished beef will be. You can also fry the meat — this will give the finished salad a completely unique taste and aroma!

Step 3

Step 3
Cool the beef and cut into small cubes. I use beef in this salad, but you can also use pork, veal, and even chicken. Of course, the taste of the finished salad will be slightly different, but still very tasty.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash the cucumbers, dry them, cut off the “butts”. Cut the cucumbers into small cubes.

Step 5

Step 5
Boil the eggs hard — this is about 8 minutes after boiling. Cool and also cut into small cubes.

Step 6

Step 6
Combine all chopped ingredients and add salt. Keep in mind that mayonnaise is also quite salty.

Step 7

Step 7
Season the salad with mayonnaise. Not all people eat mayonnaise, especially store-bought mayonnaise. Therefore, I highly recommend using homemade mayonnaise. Or it can be replaced with sour cream or light yogurt, such as Greek.

Step 8

Step 8
Serve the salad to the table. Bon appetit!
