Carrot 400 g
White cabbage 2 kg
bell pepper 200 g

For the marinade:

Salt 2.5 tbsp
Sugar 100 g
Water 1 l
Bay leaf 2 pc
Table vinegar 150 ml
Vegetable oil 100 ml
Allspice 6 pc

How to make day-old cabbage? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Take fresh, juicy cabbage. Before cutting the head of cabbage, remove the top dirty leaves from it. Wash the vegetables well and dry with paper towels.

First, start cooking the marinade. To do this, pour a liter of water into the pan. Add salt, sugar, pepper, bay leaf, and vegetable oil to it. Place on the stove and let the liquid boil. Boil for 5 minutes, remove from heat, pour in vinegar.

Chop the white cabbage into beautiful thin strips. If your cabbage is a little old, you can lightly mash it with your hands.

Grate the peeled carrots on a coarse grater. For this recipe, it is advisable to choose sweet and juicy carrots. You can also not grate the carrots, but cut them into thin strips.
