Crab sticks 200 g
Shrimps 200 g

How to make crab and shrimp salad? Prepare the ingredients according to the list. Wash the Chinese cabbage, dry it and tear it into small pieces with your hands, using only the soft green part of the leaves. You can use fresh or frozen shrimp. How to defrost shrimp? Do this on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator.

How to cook shrimp? Pour water into a large saucepan. The volume of liquid should be twice the volume of seafood. Salt with regular, or better yet, sea salt (1 tbsp per 1 liter of water). When it boils, add the unpeeled shrimp to the pan. Bring them to a boil again and immediately turn off the heat. Small shrimp are cooked for no more than 2 minutes. Royal or brindle — 3-7 minutes.

Be careful not to overcook the shrimp or keep them in hot water, otherwise they wonʼt be as tender as youʼd like. Drain in a colander, rinse with cold water or place in a bowl of ice. Peel the chilled shrimp.

If the crab sticks you are using are frozen, defrost them. Without removing the packaging, place them on a cutting board and let them thaw. Now remove the cellophane wrapper. If it doesnʼt unwind well, hold the sticks over the steam for 1-3 seconds. Cut crab sticks into semicircles.

Place the canned pineapples in a colander and let the syrup drain. Cut the fruit into small pieces.

Cut the hard cheese into medium cubes. Try to cut the crab sticks and cheese into cubes of the same size — this will make the salad look more beautiful. You can take any cheese, semi-hard, soft, according to your taste.

In a salad bowl of a suitable size, combine shrimp, crab sticks, Chinese cabbage, pineapples and pomegranate seeds.
