Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make a salad with smoked chicken and cheese? To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can replace meat from smoked breast with meat from drumsticks or legs. You can replace smoked chicken with boiled or fried chicken. You can use any soft cheese you like: curd, processed or feta. I have cottage cheese without additives. Wash the lettuce leaves and dry.

Step 2

Step 2
If you wish, you can add about 80 g olives or pitted olives. Remove the pitted olives from the brine and dry.

Step 3

Step 3
Remove skin and bones from the smoked breast and cut into thin slices.

Step 4

Step 4
Cut the tomatoes in half. I used cherry tomatoes, but you can replace them with regular tomatoes. Tomatoes need to be juicy but firm. Soft fruits do not hold their shape well; during cutting and cooking, they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.

Step 5

Step 5
Peel the red onion and cut into thin rings or half rings. If you wish, you can marinate the onion in 2 tbsp. l. vinegar and 1 tbsp. l. Sahara. Or replace the red onion with onion, but you will need to pickle it to remove the sharpness and bitterness.

Step 6

Step 6
Now prepare the dressing. You can add or replace ingredients to taste. You can take any mustard: grainy, like mine, or in the form of a ready-made paste. Vegetable oil — any to taste. I have olive.

Step 7

Step 7
In a bowl, combine vegetable oil, lemon juice, liquid honey, mustard, a garlic clove passed through a press, salt and pepper. Beat everything thoroughly with a fork until smooth.

Step 8

Step 8
Place lettuce leaves on a plate. Scatter smoked chicken, tomatoes and red onion on top. Use a teaspoon to scoop out small quenelles of cream cheese.

Step 9

Step 9
Drizzle honey mustard dressing over salad.

Step 10

Step 10
And at the very end, scatter whole pitted olives over the salad. You can serve the salad immediately. Bon appetit!
