The combination of sweet beets and raisins with crispy nuts, spicy garlic and mayonnaise is very successful. Beets for salad are not boiled, but baked in the oven.

How to make a salad with beet mayonnaise with raisins, walnuts and garlic? Prepare your food. Choose sweet beets with bright colors. Take seedless raisins, the nuts are already peeled. You can make mayonnaise yourself. You will find the recipes after the last step. You can also season this salad with vegetable oil, sour cream or yogurt — then it will become less calorie. You can take any nuts you like.

You can boil beets for salad, but to get a more tasty and healthy product, I recommend baking them. How to bake beets? Rinse the fruits well under running water with a brush, dry and wrap in foil. If the foil is thin, then make a double layer. Place the wrapped beets in the pan.

Bake the beets in the oven at 200°C. Small and young fruits 35-60 minutes, larger and mature ones — 2 hours. The exact time will also vary depending on the features of your oven. Check readiness with a wooden skewer — it will easily pierce the beets. Cool completely and then peel the fruit.

Prepare other ingredients. Rinse the raisins and then pour boiling water over them for 10 minutes.

Then place the raisins in a sieve, place on a paper towel and blot thoroughly to remove excess moisture.

Chop the walnuts into small pieces. You can pre-dry them a little in a frying pan without oil.
