Ingredients (2 portions)

Basic:

Olive oil 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Lemon juice 0.5 tbsp
Pepper to taste
cucumbers 1 pc
Bacon (5 items) 100 g
Cherry tomatoes 6 pc
Quail eggs 4 pc
Iceberg lettuce (or another salad, or Chinese cabbage) 100 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make bacon salad? Prepare the following ingredients. Wash and dry the vegetables. Boil quail eggs until tender and cool. The dressing will be a mixture of oil and lemon juice, but you can use the sauce to your liking.

Step 2

Step 2
Fry the bacon on both sides in a frying pan over medium heat until golden brown. Then place it on a paper towel to remove excess fat. I didnʼt use oil to fry the bacon.

Step 3

Step 3
Place lettuce leaves in a deep salad bowl (I used ready-to-eat lettuce in a bag). To do this, tear the Chinese cabbage or lettuce in the bouquet with your hands or cut it into strips.

Step 4

Step 4
Place fried bacon on top of lettuce leaves. I didnʼt cut it into smaller pieces, but you can do that if you want.

Step 5

Step 5
Peel the boiled quail eggs, cut in half and place in a dish with salad.

Step 6

Step 6
Cut cherry tomatoes in half and add to salad.

Step 7

Step 7
Cut the cucumber into circles or semi-circles and add to the rest of the prepared ingredients. I didnʼt peel the skin of the cucumber. But if you are using hard-skinned greenhouse cucumbers, it is better to peel them.

Step 8

Step 8
Season the finished salad with sauce, add salt to taste, stir and serve immediately. Mix without pressure, preferably with two spatulas, holding them in both hands. Be careful not to bruise the food so that it remains beautiful and intact. Bon appetit!
