Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make a salad with pollock caviar, cabbage and cucumber? Nothing could be easier! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. It is better to take young cabbage, it is tender and juicy. Well, the most important thing in this salad is GOOD FRESH CAVIAR. Very often I saw negative reviews that the salad was bitter. This is due to low-quality caviar. Therefore, do not be lazy — go and choose caviar with the most recent expiration date. See recipe below for more information.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the cabbage, remove the withered outer leaves and stalks and chop finely.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash the cucumber, dry and cut into strips. It is not necessary to cut off the skin, if it is not bitter or tough, but be guided by your taste.

Step 4

Step 4
Peel the bell pepper from seeds and cut into strips.

Step 5

Step 5
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Step 6

Step 6
Wash the green onions and parsley, dry and finely chop. In addition to the above greens, you can also add dill and/or cilantro. When choosing greens, be guided by your preferences.

Step 7

Step 7
In a bowl, combine cabbage, cucumber, carrots, bell pepper, chopped herbs and pollock caviar. Season the salad with vegetable oil and lemon juice. Sprinkle with salt and sugar. Sugar balances the sourness from citric acid and is not particularly noticeable in the salad. You can use either olive oil, sunflower oil, or something else to your taste, the main thing is that it does not overwhelm the taste of the entire salad.

Step 8

Step 8
Mix everything well and serve the salad immediately. Bon appetit!
