Beet (boiled) 300 g
Vegetable oil 3 tbsp
Pickles 3 pc
Crackers 100 g
Canned beans 200 g

How to make a salad with beets and beans without mayonnaise? Prepare your ingredients. Pre-boil the beets and cool. Beetroot for salad can be used either boiled or baked in the oven in foil. Take red beans, without any additives. You can make your own crackers or buy ready-made ones.

Open the can of beans, drain the liquid, place the beans in a colander to drain all the liquid.

Cut the pickled cucumbers into small cubes.

How to cook beets? Wash the root vegetables with a brush under the tap and, without peeling, fill with cold water. Place the pan with the beets to simmer over low heat. After boiling, reduce the heat. Cook the beets at low simmer for 40 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on their size. Check readiness with a sharp knife — it should pierce the root vegetable freely. Cool the beets, peel and cut into small cubes.

Combine beets, beans and cucumbers in a salad bowl.

Season the salad with vegetable oil and mix gently. I like to use aromatic sunflower oil for dressing. Taste the salad for salt and add more if necessary. Although I always have enough saltiness from cucumbers and beans. The salad is ready, you can serve it as is, adding croutons to it immediately before serving. I serve the salad using a ring.

Place a cooking ring on a flat dish and place the resulting salad in it. Place the salad in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Then remove the ring. Before serving, place croutons on the salad. Bon appetit!
