Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make a salad with fried meat? Prepare all the necessary products. It is better to take fresh meat; defrost frozen meat first. Read about all the intricacies of defrosting in a separate article at the link at the end of the recipe. Pork should be without streaks, boneless, without fat; ham or tenderloin will do. You can take boiled meat and then fry it. It is better to use red salad onions; they have a milder taste.

Step 2

Step 2
Rinse the meat, dry with a paper towel and cut into strips. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over high heat. You will learn how to choose a frying pan, as well as select oil, from the articles linked at the end of the recipe. Fry the meat until done. If the pork does not fit in one layer in a frying pan, then fry it in two steps. At this step you can add a little ground black pepper. Place the meat on paper towels and let it cool.

Step 3

Step 3
Cut the pickled cucumbers into strips and place in a deep salad bowl.

Step 4

Step 4
Peel the onion, chop into half rings and add to the sliced cucumbers.

Step 5

Step 5
Place the fried meat in a salad bowl with the previously prepared ingredients.

Step 6

Step 6
Add mayonnaise to the salad and stir. You can use homemade mayonnaise. You will find mayonnaise recipes after the last step. Taste the salad for salt and add more salt if necessary. I didn’t add any more salt to the salad except when frying the pork.

Step 7

Step 7
Chill the salad before serving. Bon appetit!
