Basic:

Garlic 1 clove
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
bell pepper 2 pc
Apple vinegar 1 tsp

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to pickle peppers? Prepare the components according to the list. Choose peppers that are strong, juicy, and without blemishes. Even though we will fry before marinating. It is best to take peppers of different colors: red, yellow, orange.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut a clove of garlic into thin petals, add any vegetable oil (it turns out very tasty with aromatic oils: sunflower, sesame, olive oil will do), apple cider vinegar, salt to taste, pepper. Mix the sauce well and let it sit. You can put the garlic through a garlic press — it will be much sharper. My option is for those who don’t eat garlic in its natural form or if you have children, the petals can be removed.

Step 3

Step 3
Fry sweet bell peppers until partially black on all sides in the oven or in a dry frying pan with a lid. Cool them a little and place them in a plastic bag and tie them. This way the peppers will become limp and easily give up their skins. (Brightly colored peppers will look better, and they are much sweeter).

Step 4

Step 4
When the peppers are warm, remove them from the bag and peel off the skins, this is now easy to do. Cut the pepper into cubes or ribbons.

Step 5

Step 5
Place the chopped peppers in a salad bowl or any jar, pour over the prepared marinade sauce and let sit for at least a couple of hours. Then serve. This is simply delicious! You can prepare it for the winter, but I still recommend storing it in the refrigerator.
