Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to marinate salmon? First of all, prepare all the products you will need. You can marinate any red fish according to this recipe. If you have frozen fish, remove it from the freezer and leave it at room temperature until completely thawed. Clean the fish from scales, gut it and wash it. Dry with paper towels. Fillet the salmon. You can learn how to defrost fish correctly from the article, link at the end of the recipe.

Step 2

Step 2
Remove the seeds. It is convenient to do this with tweezers.

Step 3

Step 3
In a deep bowl, mix salt, sugar and ground coriander. You can use a little less sugar to taste than indicated in the recipe. In a separate deep bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce and the juice of half a lemon.

Step 4

Step 4
Rub the salmon fillet thoroughly with a mixture of salt, sugar and coriander on all sides.

Step 5

Step 5
Place the fish in a bowl or container of suitable size.

Step 6

Step 6
Apply marinade to each piece on all sides. For convenience, I used a silicone brush. At this stage, the fish can be sprinkled with finely chopped dill. I usually add greens to cooked fish. Cover the bowl with cling film and place in the refrigerator for a day. During marinating, turn the fillet 2-3 times for more even brining.

Step 7

Step 7
Cut the prepared home-marinated salmon into thin slices. If desired, drizzle with lime or lemon juice and serve! Offer soy-marinated salmon as a meal on its own, in addition to vegetables, potatoes and more.

Step 8

Step 8
Or make a snack of bread, baguette, etc.
