How to make dumplings in sour cream in the oven? For this dish you can use frozen ready-made dumplings. There is no need to defrost them first. Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and place the frozen dumplings. Fry them over high heat until golden brown. This is necessary so that the finished dish has an appetizing aroma and so that they do not stick together in the oven.

Place the fried dumplings in the prepared baking dish. The form can be used in any size as you prefer. I decided to cook it in pots for 2 servings. That’s why the recipe contains the exact number of dumplings.

For sour cream sauce, mix sour cream with water. If the sour cream is liquid, then you can add less water than indicated in the recipe. Peel the garlic and finely chop it with a knife. Chop the greens finely as well. Add chopped herbs and garlic to sour cream. Add a little salt and spices to taste. Stir.

Grate the cheese on a medium grater and add to the sauce. Mix everything well.

Pour the resulting sour cream and cheese sauce over the dumplings until they are almost covered. Place the dumplings in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Then remove them from the oven, cool slightly and serve. Bon appetit!
