Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake pork in the microwave? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. To bake meat, you will need a microwave oven with the “Grill” function. A regular microwave will not work. The original recipe for baking meat in a microwave oven uses a special microwave-safe plate. I don’t have one, so I baked the pork on a special grill. I took 500 grams of meat (ham), since my microwave is not too large.

Step 2

Step 2
Rinse the meat, dry it with a paper or other towel and make several cuts on it so that excess fat comes out when baking.

Step 3

Step 3
Season the pork with salt and pepper. You can also use any other spices.

Step 4

Step 4
If you are using a special microwave-safe plate, preheat it for two minutes. If using a grill rack, place the pork on it and microwave. I also placed a plate under the grill so that the fat from the meat would drain into it. Turn on the microwave in the “Grill + Microwave” mode for 12 minutes. My microwave has two of these modes. I chose the one where more power goes to the grill (36% microwave, 64% grill).

Step 5

Step 5
After the time has passed, turn the meat over and cook for another 12 minutes at the same setting.

Step 6

Step 6
Check the meat for doneness. Make a cut with a knife at the thickest point. If clear liquid oozes from it, then the meat is ready. If the liquid is pinkish, bake the meat in the microwave some more. You can set the “Grill” mode, starting from 3-5 minutes.

Step 7

Step 7
Let the finished meat stand for 10 minutes before cutting so that the juices inside the meat are distributed and the meat remains juicy. Bon appetit!
