Basic:

Garlic 2 clove
Salt 0.5 tsp
Sugar 2 tsp
Carrot 2 pc
Bulb onions 1 pc
Vegetable oil 3 tbsp
Dry spices (Korean carrot spice mix) 2 tsp
Vinegar 1 tbsp
bell pepper 1 pc
Greenery (dill, basil, cilantro) 50 g
Sesame 1 tbsp
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Chicken stomachs 600 g

How to cook Korean chicken gizzards at home? The recipe is simple. Follow the step-by-step description and you will succeed. Prepare all the necessary products.

Rinse the stomachs thoroughly and remove excess fat, cut off the film.

Place the ventricles in a small saucepan, pour water and put on fire. After boiling, remove the foam with a slotted spoon, add salt and simmer for about 30 minutes.

While the gizzards are cooking, peel the carrots and cut into cubes.

Also peel the onion and cut into cubes.

Pour vegetable oil into a heated frying pan, add onions and carrots. Add 1 teaspoon of Korean carrot spices and fry over high heat for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally with a spatula. Wash the pepper, remove the stem and seeds. Cut the pulp into strips.

Add the bell pepper to the onions and carrots, fry the vegetables for 2-3 minutes. Then reduce the heat, cover the pan with a lid and simmer everything together over low heat for about 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, use a slotted spoon to remove the gizzards from the pan. Let them cool and drain off any excess liquid. Cut the ventricles into strips.

Add the gizzards to the vegetables in the pan. Add 1 teaspoon of spices, mix thoroughly and cook for about 2 more minutes. Pass the garlic through a press or grate it on a fine grater. Add sugar, vinegar, garlic and sesame seeds to soy sauce. Pour this mixture over the chicken gizzards and vegetables. Add finely chopped greens and stir. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer over low heat for 2-3 minutes.
