Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make cottage cheese from cottage cheese? Very simple and fast! First, prepare the necessary ingredients to taste. Cottage cheese and sour cream are suitable for any fat content. The fattier and softer the cottage cheese, the tastier the cheese will be. I have cottage cheese with a fat content of 9%, crumbly, but cottage cheese in briquettes is also suitable. You can replace sour cream with natural yogurt without additives (for example, Greek) or heavy cream.

Step 2

Step 2
Place the cottage cheese in a bowl and mash thoroughly with a fork to remove any lumps. If your cottage cheese is lumpy and dry, you can punch it in a blender or rub it through a sieve.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash the dill and parsley, shake off moisture and finely chop. If you wish, you can replace or supplement with other herbs, such as cilantro, green onions, or use a mixture of different herbs.

Step 4

Step 4
Add sour cream to the cottage cheese, add salt and pepper. Mix everything thoroughly. If necessary, add a little more sour cream, but the mass should hold its shape and not spread.

Step 5

Step 5
Add chopped herbs to the curd mixture and mix everything well. The greens should be distributed evenly throughout the curd mass.

Step 6

Step 6
Place the curd cheese and herbs in the refrigerator for 1 hour until the mixture thickens.

Step 7

Step 7
You can serve this cottage cheese as a separate dish or as a topping for toast or pancakes. Bon appetit!
