Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to quickly marinate zucchini with honey and garlic? Prepare your food. What kind of zucchini works best? Choose young fruits with delicate skin — you won’t have to peel them or remove the seeds. Take odorless oil, table vinegar, 9%, apple or wine. You can use sugar instead of honey. Adjust the amount of salt, garlic and pepper to your taste.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the zucchini, dry it and cut off the ends. Cut them into thin slices. The cutting method is not important — you can cut into circles, halves, thin ribbons and even strips. Just don’t make the slices too thick so that they have time to marinate.

Step 3

Step 3
Place the chopped zucchini in a deep bowl and sprinkle with salt. Gently mix the slices and leave to stand for 30 minutes.

Step 4

Step 4
Meanwhile, prepare the marinade. Peel the garlic and chop finely. Or put it through a press.

Step 5

Step 5
Wash the dill, dry it and finely chop it with a knife. Instead of dill, you can take other greens — parsley, cilantro, basil, whatever you like.

Step 6

Step 6
Finely chop the hot pepper. Add it carefully — the dish will be very spicy.

Step 7

Step 7
Place chopped garlic, dill, and pepper in a bowl. Add honey (or sugar), pour in vinegar and vegetable oil. Mix the marinade well.

Step 8

Step 8
Squeeze the zucchini lightly with your hand and drain the juice. Pour marinade over them. Mix the zucchini well, you can do this with your hands. Leave them to stand for 2-3 hours. An instant appetizer of pickled zucchini with honey is ready. You can serve it to the table.
