Simple and tasteful. A dish for those tired of delights. Simple boiled beef is a frequent guest on my table. This tasty and healthy meat is a source of essential amino acids. I will not use broth for this recipe in the future, but as I prepare it I will tell you how this can be corrected.

Ingredients (3 portions)

Basic:

Onion 1 pc
Salt to taste
Cilantro, coriander (Stems) 10 g
Water 2 l
Bay leaf 2 pc
Parsley (Stems) 10 g
Carrot 1 pc
Greenery (Lovage or celery stalks) 15 g
Fillet of beef 700 g
Allspice 4 pc

How to cook beef? Wash the meat and remove films and fat. For this recipe I chose beef tenderloin. She comes straight away clean and very lean.

Pour cold water into a saucepan and bring to a boil. As soon as the first bubbles appear, add salt to taste.

Place beef into boiling water. With this method of cooking, the beef will turn out tastier, since it will give less of its taste to the broth. If you want to make the broth tasty, then place the meat immediately in cold water.

As it boils, foam will form on the surface. It needs to be removed. I find it convenient to do this with a regular tablespoon.

Half an hour after the start of boiling, add peeled carrots and a medium-sized onion to the pan.

As well as washed stems of lovage, parsley and cilantro. The stems can be tied tightly with white tailorʼs thread if you plan to use broth. This will make it easier to remove the herbs from the pan. Cook the meat over low heat with the lid closed for one and a half hours.

Twenty minutes before readiness, add bay leaf and allspice peas. Check the meat with a knife for doneness. If the knife slides easily into the thickest part, itʼs ready. Remove the onion, herbs and spices from the broth. I use carrots later, for example, for serving.
