Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry potatoes and bacon in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. For cooking, you can use smoked or fresh bacon. I like the smoked one better — it turns out very flavorful in the finished dish. The quantity and proportions of ingredients can be slightly changed to suit your taste. Peel the potatoes in advance and rinse them in running water to remove dirt.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut the bacon into small slices. Heat a frying pan until hot and pour a little vegetable oil on it. Add the chopped bacon and fry for a couple of minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 3

Step 3
At this time, peel the onion, rinse and cut into half rings or a little smaller.

Step 4

Step 4
Place the chopped onion in the pan with the bacon and fry everything together for another minute. A characteristic aroma will appear from the onion.

Step 5

Step 5
Cut the peeled potatoes. The cutting method can be any. I love potato strips.

Step 6

Step 6
Place the chopped potatoes in the pan. Mix everything. Add salt and spices to taste. When adding salt, keep in mind that the bacon is already salty. Cover the pan with a lid and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes. Donʼt forget to stir so that nothing burns.

Step 7

Step 7
During cooking, the potatoes will become soft. Remove the pan from the heat, divide the fried potatoes with bacon into plates and serve hot. Bon appetit!
