Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make sea buckthorn tea from frozen sea buckthorn? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. There is no need to defrost sea buckthorn berries. Bring the water to a boil.

Step 2

Step 2
Place sea buckthorn berries in a small mug, fill with hot water, rinse them a little and immediately drain all the water.

Step 3

Step 3
Then pour hot water over the berries again and leave to stand for 1-2 minutes. During this time, they will completely defrost and begin to release their beneficial substances into the water. To get the most vibrant taste of tea, mash the berries with a spoon or masher to release the juice.

Step 4

Step 4
Transfer the berry mass into a bowl for brewing tea. A French press, a regular jar, or a teapot made of glass or ceramics are suitable for this.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour 400 ml of boiling water over the berry mass and cover with a lid. Leave to stand for 5-7 minutes for the tea to infuse. The longer the tea is steeped, the more aromatic the finished drink will be. If desired, at this point you can add black or green tea or supplement the drink with lemon zest, mint, ginger or spices.

Step 6

Step 6
Strain the finished tea and pour into prepared mugs. Add a little honey or sugar to the mug according to your taste. Enjoy your tea!
