Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
First, prepare the ingredients. You can adjust the amount of honey in the recipe to your taste. Strawberries can be used either frozen or fresh — fresh ones will need to be washed, peeled from the stems and cut into halves for easier grinding.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut the peeled banana into small pieces so that the blender can easily grind it.

Step 3

Step 3
I use frozen strawberries for the smoothie, so I first needed to defrost them in the microwave (but you can use any other defrosting method that is convenient for you). Once defrosted, the strawberries become very soft and release juice, so there is no need to cut them. Combine all ingredients in a bowl suitable for an immersion blender.

Step 4

Step 4
All that remains is to beat everything into a homogeneous mass! Donʼt forget to check with a spoon at the end to see if there are any large pieces of banana or strawberry left at the bottom.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour the smoothie into a beautiful glass and enjoy! The volume of the finished drink is around 400-500 ml.
