Ingredients (6 portions)

Basic:

Salt (taste) 2 tsp
Ground black pepper to taste
Ground hot pepper to taste
Apples (sour) 1 pc
Wheat flour 2 tbsp
Honey 2 tsp
Bulb onions 2 pc
Paprika 1 tbsp
Cream (any fat content) 1 cup
Meat broth (can be replaced with water) 1 cup
Rack of pork ribs (pork meat) 1 kg

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Cut the ribs into portions.

Step 2

Step 2
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over maximum heat. Add honey.

Step 3

Step 3
When the honey has melted, add a layer of ribs and fry them on both sides until golden brown, about 1 minute on each side.

Step 4

Step 4
There will be almost no honey left in the pan after frying, but the fat from the ribs will be added in which you need to fry the finely chopped onion.

Step 5

Step 5
Peel the apple and chop very finely

Step 6

Step 6
Place the glazed ribs in a saucepan and pour in the broth. Place the saucepan on low heat and simmer, covered, until the meat is cooked. This should take at least an hour and a half.

Step 7

Step 7
Add onion and apple to the saucepan, add salt and pepper.

Step 8

Step 8
Add your favorite seasonings. One of my favorite seasonings is Svan salt. If you find it and buy it, you definitely won’t regret it!

Step 9

Step 9
Mix. Continue simmering for another 1 hour.

Step 10

Step 10
The apple should practically dissolve in the sauce during the stewing process. Pieces may remain, itʼs okay. When the sauce is smooth, remove the ribs and place them in a separate dish. Add cream to the sauce.

Step 11

Step 11
Add flour.

Step 12

Step 12
Boil for 10 minutes on low heat. Beat with a blender.

Step 13

Step 13
And put the ribs in it again, let it boil and set aside.

Step 14

Step 14
Ready! It’s very tasty, I say without false modesty. Serve with mashed potatoes. Bon appetit!
