Savory Beef and Onion Skillet Sauté

Amazingly appetizing and incredibly tender — just like in a restaurant! Beef with onions in a frying pan turns out incredibly tasty and juicy thanks to one little trick. Just add a little sugar. Yes, yes, but it is this ingredient that will provide the meat with bright taste and softness.

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry beef meat with onions in a frying pan? Itʼs very simple. Prepare all the necessary products, there are very few of them.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash, peel and cut the onion into half rings. Rinse the knife with cold water, this will help you avoid irritation of the mucous membranes of the eyes.

Step 3

Step 3
In a bowl, mix salt, sugar and ground black pepper. We all have different preferences, so be guided, first of all, by your taste.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash the beef fillet and pat dry with a paper towel. The meat must be dried. This way it will be well fried, which is what we need during pre-processing. Cut into small pieces, place in a bowl with spices and mix thoroughly.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour vegetable oil into the frying pan. Fry the meat over high heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent the beef from burning. Read about how to choose the ideal frying pan, as well as how to choose the right vegetable oil in separate articles, links at the end of the recipe.

Step 6

Step 6
When the meat is browned, add the onion. Stir and fry until the onion is transparent. Pour in 1.5 cups of hot water, reduce the heat, cover the pan with a lid and simmer the meat until cooked for about 30-40 minutes.

Step 7

Step 7
Soft beef with onions in a frying pan is ready! Serve it with any side dish and invite everyone to the table. Bon appetit! My husband really liked the beef with mashed potatoes, and for myself I prepared bulgur porridge in water, sprinkled with chopped cilantro and enjoyed, in my opinion, the most exquisite combination of meat, cereals and herbs.
