Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Prepare the following ingredients. To prepare baked meat, it is better to take boneless thigh fillet. Let it be fresh meat, not previously frozen. If it is not possible to take fresh meat, then defrost the frozen turkey first, leaving it on the bottom shelf in the refrigerator. I take ready-made mustard in a “Russian” jar; you can prepare mustard at home yourself. Dry spices to taste, you can take a ready-made set of spices for chicken, for example.

Step 2

Step 2
Before baking the meat, it should be marinated. Marinating will make it more flavorful and softer. Rinse the turkey thigh fillet well under cold running water and pat dry with paper towels. Place the meat in a deep bowl (it is better if it has a lid). Mix mustard and salt in a separate bowl, mixing them evenly. Brush the turkey on all sides with this mixture. Place the marinated turkey meat in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

Step 3

Step 3
After two hours (or more, depending on how much time you have), rub the turkey meat with dry spices, so that they completely cover the entire surface of the fillet.

Step 4

Step 4
Wrap the turkey meat in foil, place in a baking dish or on a baking sheet and place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 2 hours. If you want a small crispy crust, then after the specified time, open the foil and let the meat stand in the oven without it.

Step 5

Step 5
Remove the finished meat from the oven, carefully open the foil. Place the meat on a serving platter and use a sharp knife to cut into portions. This meat can be served with various side dishes — pasta, potatoes, rice. When cooled, turkey can be used as one of the ingredients in salads and sandwiches.
