Basic:

Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Apples 2 pc
Water 150 ml
Bay leaf (ground) 1 pc
Bulb onions 1 pc
Vinegar 50 ml
Sunflower oil 2 tbsp

Rinse the duck.

Season and stir well.

Peel the onion and cut it into half rings.

Add onion to meat and stir.

Mix water with vinegar and pour over meat. Stir and leave for 30 minutes.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the duck on both sides. It is better to do this quickly and over high heat so that the meat remains juicy.

While the duck is roasting, wash and cut the apples into slices, removing the middle.

When the duck has become golden, add the onion to it, reduce the heat and cook until the onion is soft. If you value juicy meat, place the onion on the bottom and the meat on top.

Place half of the apples in an oven tray lined with foil.

Place the onion and meat in the next layer and place the rest of the apples on top. Cover everything well with foil.

Cook for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees, then unwrap and cook for another 10 minutes.
