Recipe instructions

Step 1

How to make meat with tomatoes and onions in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. You can use any type of meat for roasting. It could be lamb, beef or, like mine, pork. Choose boneless meat. Can be done with a little fat. This will make the baked meat juicier. The neck part is perfect. Choose spices to your taste. I have ground pepper and a little paprika.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut the meat into small pieces and beat with a kitchen hammer on both sides.

Step 3

Step 3
Any heat-resistant form is suitable for baking. I take the ceramic one. Grease the bottom and sides of the pan with vegetable oil and place the chopped pieces of meat. Sprinkle the meat with salt and spices. Rub the spices into the meat and leave to sit for 15-20 minutes. Peel the onion and rinse in cold water. Then cut it into half rings. Spread the chopped onion over the entire surface of the meat.

Step 4

Step 4
Cut the tomatoes into slices and arrange on the onion. Place the pan in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for 30 minutes. During this time, excess moisture will evaporate from the meat and the tomatoes will dry out slightly. Then cover the top lightly with foil and leave the meat in the oven for another 15-20 minutes to finish cooking. There is no need to seal it hermetically. Just cover so the top doesnʼt start to burn.

Step 5
Remove the finished baked meat from the oven, sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve hot. Bon appetit!
