Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake meat in soy sauce in the oven? First, prepare the ingredients for the marinade. You can change the composition of the products by adding or removing some ingredients. What you use to make the marinade doesn’t really matter, so you can use your own, proven and favorite one.

Step 2

Step 2
Peel the garlic and finely chop it with a knife. You can use a garlic press or instead of slicing, crush the cloves with the side of a knife. A mortar and pestle are also suitable for this purpose.

Step 3

Step 3
Grate the lemon zest on a fine grater. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, chopped garlic. Add lemon zest and dried herbs to the marinade. Mix everything thoroughly.

Step 4

Step 4
Wash the pork, dry it and cut it into pieces about 1 cm thick. I already had ready-made slices of boneless carbonate. The best choice for this recipe is fresh pork tenderloin or fillet. The meat should be tender and without “fibers”, then the finished chop will literally melt in your mouth. It is better to avoid meat on the bone immediately.

Step 5

Step 5
Beat each slice of pork well on both sides with a hammer. If the meat has a white film on the sides, cut it in several places with a knife — this will prevent the meat from cupping during baking.

Step 6

Step 6
Place chops in a suitable sized bowl. Pour the marinade over the pork, trying to distribute it over the entire meat surface. It’s good if the pork is at least partially immersed in the marinade.

Step 7

Step 7
Cover the meat in a bowl with the marinade with cling film and put it in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Half an hour before cooking, turn on the oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking pan with parchment. You can choose the right parchment paper by reading the article at the link at the end of the recipe.

Step 8

Step 8
Place the beaten meat on parchment. Pour the marinade on top. It will keep the dish from drying out when baking. Try to baste the meat, not the paper. Place the pork in an oven preheated to 180°C and bake it for about 35 minutes. Then turn on the top grill and brown it for about 10 minutes. The exact time depends on your oven. You can learn about the operating features of ovens by reading a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

Step 9

Step 9
Serve the finished meat in soy sauce immediately, while it is hot, with any side dish. Bon appetit!
