Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make pizza with beer? Prepare the ingredients for the dough. Take the highest grade flour. Any vegetable oil will do. I have sunflower. The beer will be light or dark. If you want a more pronounced beer flavor from the dough, use dark beer.

Step 2

Step 2
Sift 320 g of flour into a bowl. It is important to sift the flour to saturate it with oxygen. Then the baked goods will turn out airy and rise well during baking. Add salt and sugar and stir.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour in beer and vegetable oil. Stir with a spoon.

Step 4

Step 4
Then grease your hands with vegetable oil and continue kneading the dough on the table until smooth, adding a little remaining flour if necessary. If the dough is still sticky and requires even more flour than the recipe calls for, it is better not to overfill it with flour, otherwise the finished dough will be too dense and tasteless. It is better to sprinkle flour on your rolling pin and table when rolling. For more information about flour, read the articles below the steps.

Step 5

Step 5
Roll the dough into a ball. Cover the bowl with the dough with a towel and leave in a warm place for 30 minutes to rise. The dough rises with beer not as much as with yeast, so don’t expect much fluffiness.

Step 6

Step 6
Now prepare the ingredients for the filling. For the sauce, I used ready-made store-bought tomato pizza sauce. If you wish, you can make this sauce yourself: blend peeled tomatoes with salt, pepper and oregano in a blender. For suitable pizza sauce recipes, see the link at the end of the recipe below the steps. You can use any filling you like. I made it with ham, sausage, tomatoes and bell peppers.

Step 7

Step 7
Cut the ham and sausage into thin slices.

Step 8

Step 8
Wash the bell pepper, remove seeds and cut into rings.

Step 9

Step 9
Wash the tomatoes and cut into slices.

Step 10

Step 10
Remove the olives from the brine and dry.

Step 11

Step 11
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. For this recipe, you can use brine and unbrine mozzarella, suluguni, as well as any cheese of your choice that melts well. How to replace different types of cheeses, read the article at the end of the recipe.

Step 12

Step 12
Distribute the dough into a pizza pan (Ø 30-35 cm). Or divide the dough into two parts and make 2 medium round pizzas. Brush the top of the dough with tomato sauce.

Step 13

Step 13
Scatter ham, sausage, tomatoes, bell peppers and olives over the sauce.

Step 14

Step 14
Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Place the pizza in an oven preheated to 200°C and bake for 10-15 minutes or a little longer until done. Time and temperature are approximate, be guided by the operating characteristics of your equipment. Read about ovens in the article below the steps.

Step 15

Step 15
Garnish the finished beer pizza without yeast with basil or other herbs and serve. Bon appetit!
