Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make potato pancakes with meat? First prepare the meat filling. How to make the filling? Peel the onion, divide it in half and chop one half in any way (knife, grater, blender). Add onion, salt and ground black pepper to the minced meat, knead it well. Cover a board or plate with cling film. Make 10 small cakes from the minced meat and place them on cling film. Place the cutlets prepared in this way in the refrigerator.

Step 2

Step 2
Prepare potato dough. Wash and peel the potatoes well. Using a fine grater, grate the potatoes and half the remaining onion. Transfer the grated mass into one deep container, add the egg, wheat flour and salt. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. You should get a fairly thick dough that does not spread, but holds its shape.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and place it on the fire. When the pan is hot, use a tablespoon to spoon the potato mixture into pancakes.

Step 4

Step 4
Then immediately place the meat cutlets on top of the potatoes. Cover them with potato mixture, so the minced pork will be completely inside the potato pancakes. Fry the potato pancakes with meat over medium heat so that during frying the meat filling has time to fully cook and does not turn out raw.

Step 5

Step 5
Fry the pancakes until golden brown, then carefully turn them over and fry on the other side, also until golden brown. During the cooking process, potato pancakes can be turned over several times and fried until the desired color. Remove the finished pancakes from the pan onto a paper towel to absorb excess fat. In this way, prepare potato pancakes from all the dough. Serve the potato pancakes hot with sour cream. Bon appetit!
