Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry cutlets with cabbage in a frying pan? Prepare all the indicated ingredients. Naturally, fresh and young cabbage will produce more tasty, tender and juicy cutlets. And the cooking method — in the oven — will also allow you to preserve the maximum vitamins in this vegetable. Remove the top dry and dirty cabbage leaves and remove the stalk. Cut the cabbage into small pieces and chop it using a blender, or you can simply chop it finely with a knife.

Step 2

Step 2
Peel the onion, cut into several parts and chop together with the cabbage in a blender. If the cabbage is not very young and fresh, you can first boil or stew it before preparing the minced meat for the cutlets; the cabbage in the cutlets will then be softer and more tender.

Step 3

Step 3
Place the minced cabbage in a deep bowl, add salt to taste. Mix the cabbage mixture thoroughly, it is better to do this with your hands so that it releases the juice. If too much juice has been released, it is better to drain it. The minced cabbage should be moderately moist.

Step 4

Step 4
Beat a chicken egg into a bowl with cabbage, add spices to taste: ground black pepper and any others as desired. Mix the minced cabbage well. Wash the egg with baking soda first to remove dirt.

Step 5

Step 5
Using wet hands, form the minced cabbage into cutlets. Pour some wheat flour into a plate. Roll the cutlets in it on all sides.

Step 6

Step 6
Heat the oil in a frying pan, place the cutlets rolled in flour and fry over medium heat until golden brown. How to choose a frying pan oil for frying, read articles on these topics. Links are at the end of this recipe.

Step 7

Step 7
Flip the cabbage cutlets over and brown them on the other side.

Step 8

Step 8
Serve raw white cabbage cutlets to the table. If desired, complement them with herbs, fresh vegetables, salad or any sauce. Bon appetit!
