Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make shish kebab with lard on the grill? The potatoes must be washed well first — I washed them with a metal scraper, because they will cook in their skins. Young potatoes are ideal for this type of barbecue — they cook faster. Or, for example, instead of potatoes, take black bread in slices — it will be even faster and you will get croutons with lard)

Step 2

Step 2
Cut the lard into slices

Step 3

Step 3
Potatoes — in circles. The thickness of the slices depends on your desire — the thinner, the faster it will be ready!

Step 4

Step 4
Salt, pepper and stir the potatoes. My lard is salted — you don’t need to do anything with it. If you took fresh lard, then, like potatoes, salt and pepper it.

Step 5

Step 5
Well, thatʼs all — it only took 5-7 minutes to prepare

Step 6

Step 6
Thread the lard onto skewers, alternating with potatoes. I did the opposite, but you need to start and end with lard — I’m saying this from experience) You shouldn’t press too hard against each other either — the potatoes may not be fried

Step 7

Step 7
Cook on the grill until the potatoes are ready, twist the skewer so that the lard and potatoes are evenly fried on all sides

Step 8

Step 8
And now the meat has arrived, but it still needs to be fried, and our kebab with lard is almost ready)

Step 9

Step 9
Shish kebab with lard is ready! The hungriest can already try! Bon appetit!
