A very tasty and simple dish for the whole family! Pasta with meatballs can be prepared for lunch or dinner. Children love them very much, but adults will also enjoy them. You can cook from any meat or purchased minced meat.

Ingredients (4 portions)

For the meatballs::

Onion 1 pc
Salt to taste
Wheat flour 1 tbsp
Rice 30 g
Carrot 1 pc
Dry spices to taste
Minced meat 500 g

For the sauce::

Onion 1 pc
Salt to taste
Wheat flour 1 tbsp
Water 300 ml
Tomato paste 2 tbsp
Dry spices to taste

Additionally::

Vegetable oil 30 g
Pasta 300 g

How to make pasta with meatballs? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. You can use any type of meat for the meatballs. I will cook with pork. But it can be replaced with beef, chicken or some kind of mixed minced meat. You can use any pasta.

First cook the rice in boiling water according to the instructions on the package. This usually takes 15-20 minutes. During cooking, the rice will become soft. Drain it in a colander, rinse in cold water and leave to stand for a while until all the water drains.

Peel the onions and carrots and rinse. Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots. To prepare meatballs, combine minced meat and cooked rice. Add chopped onions and carrots.

Add flour. Add salt and spices to taste. For spices I use ground pepper, paprika and a little dried basil. Mix all ingredients.

The meat mass is dense and homogeneous. Beat it a little on the bottom of the bowl. Thanks to this, the meatballs will keep their shape well.

Pour some vegetable oil into a hot frying pan. Form meatballs from the meat mass and fry them on all sides until lightly browned.

In a separate glass, mix water, flour and tomato paste.

Finely chop the peeled onion and place it in the pan with the meatballs. Pour tomato sauce over everything. Add salt and spices. Bring everything to a boil. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the meatballs over low heat for about 20 minutes.

While the meatballs are cooking, cook the pasta. Place them in hot water and cook for 10-15 minutes until they become soft. Then drain in a colander and let the water drain.

As you stew, the sauce in the meatballs will become thicker. Remove the pan from the heat. If necessary, you can add more water to get more sauce.
