Ingredients (4 portions)

Basic:

Onion 1 pc
Garlic 2 clove
Ginger (2 cm) 1 tbsp
Corn starch 1 tsp
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
Soy sauce 4 tbsp
Heavy cream (10-20%) 350 ml
Pork tenderloin (1 large tenderloin) 600 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
To prepare delicious and tender pork in a creamy ginger sauce, prepare the necessary ingredients. It is better to use tenderloin for this dish — the pork will be more tender, juicy and softer. But you can use any other boneless pulp to taste. There is no need to add additional salt and pepper to the dish — soy sauce replaces salt in this dish, and thanks to the ginger, the pork will still be spicy.

Step 2

Step 2
Rinse and dry the pork tenderloin. Cut the meat into medallions 2-3 cm thick.

Step 3

Step 3
Peel the ginger root and grate it on a fine grater. Peel the garlic and chop finely.

Step 4

Step 4
Peel the onion and cut into half rings.

Step 5

Step 5
Dissolve cornstarch in a small amount of cold cream. This way you will avoid the appearance of lumps. You can replace starch with flour. If you use potato starch, then you need to take 1/2 tsp.

Step 6

Step 6
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over high heat. Add the pork and fry on all sides until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Determine the degree of roasting of the pork to your taste. I love it when the pieces are fried until they are deeply golden brown, as in the photo. If desired, you can fry the pork until light golden brown.

Step 7

Step 7
Reduce heat to medium. Add the onion, cut into half rings, into the frying pan with the meat and fry everything together, stirring, for about 3 minutes.

Step 8

Step 8
Then add chopped garlic and grated ginger. Stir and fry everything together for another 1 minute.

Step 9

Step 9
Pour in soy sauce and simmer over low heat, stirring, for a couple of minutes. The pork should be well saturated with sauce on all sides.

Step 10

Step 10
Pour the cream with the diluted starch and the remaining cream into the pan. Bring the sauce to a boil and simmer covered for another 5 minutes.

Step 11

Step 11
Remove the finished pork in creamy ginger sauce from the heat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions and serve. Bon appetit!
