Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make cheese balls in the oven? Prepare the following ingredients. For cheese balls, take hard cheese, I will cook with Parmesan (40%). I took milk with 3.2% fat content. First remove the butter from the refrigerator so that it comes to room temperature. My flour is premium grade wheat flour. Turn on the oven to preheat to 200 degrees.

Step 2

Step 2
Remove the selected cheese from the package and grate it on a medium grater.

Step 3

Step 3
In a deep bowl, mix grated hard cheese, sifted flour, chicken egg and milk. Mix well until smooth.

Step 4

Step 4
The finished dough gathers well into a ball, slightly sticking to your hands. There is no need to add additional flour, so as not to spoil the finished baked goods.

Step 5

Step 5
Line a baking tray with baking paper and with slightly damp hands roll small balls approximately 3 by 3 cm. Place them on a baking sheet at a short distance from each other. Place the baking sheet with the balls in the oven and bake for 5 — 7 minutes at 200 degrees, then reduce the temperature to 180 degrees and bake until golden brown (10 — 15 minutes). From this amount of dough I got 17 balls.

Step 6
Take the finished cookies out of the oven and put them out to cool. It can be served either warm or cooled. These balls will perfectly complement a glass of wine or a foamy drink with friends. You can offer these balls to children as a snack.
