How to make a simple raisin pie in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. You can use sour cream with a fat content of 15-20%. Keep in mind that different manufacturers of sour cream with the same fat content may have different moisture content, so you may need more or less flour. Take the highest grade flour. Large, selected eggs are needed. Sour cream and eggs should be at room temperature, so remove them from the refrigerator in advance.

In a bowl, beat eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. The airiness of your cake depends on how you beat the eggs. You can’t beat the mixture until it’s white and thick—the whites will lose the air bubbles that lift the dough. And in this case, even baking powder will not help. The dough will either not rise at all or rise very weakly.

Wash the raisins and dry. Add most of the raisins to the dough and stir. You can take any raisins — dark or light, large or small.

Transfer the dough to a baking pan lined with parchment and greased with butter (diameter 18-20 cm). Sprinkle remaining raisins on top.
