Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make pollock fillet in batter in a frying pan? Prepare the following ingredients. To prepare fish in batter, it is better to take the fillet straight away. If the fish is not filleted, then you can cut it yourself. For spices, I take ground black pepper, but you can use other spices as well. Eggs category C0.

Step 2

Step 2
Pollock fillets are usually sold frozen. To prepare it, you must first defrost it. Rinse the completely thawed fillet and allow excess liquid to drain. Cut the fish into convenient portion pieces — the size is of your personal choice, but you should not make them too large.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash the eggs with soda to remove all possible contamination and dry. Break raw eggs into a deep bowl, add salt and ground black pepper, mix with a fork or whisk.

Step 4

Step 4
Add flour and knead the dough. The batter dough should look like thick sour cream, so to achieve the desired thickness, add flour to the dough in parts; you may need less or more flour than indicated.

Step 5

Step 5
Using a fork, take pieces of prepared fish and dip them into the batter until it completely covers the fish on all sides.

Step 6

Step 6
Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and place the battered fish on it. Fry over medium heat without a lid. First fry on one side until golden brown, then carefully turn over and fry on the other side. Place the finished fish on a plate with paper towels to absorb any remaining oil. Fry all the fish this way. How to choose the right frying pan and oil for frying can be read in the articles, the link to which you will find at the end of the recipe

Step 7

Step 7
Ready-made delicious pollock in batter can be served both hot and warm. As a side dish you can offer mashed potatoes, rice, and fresh vegetable salads.
