Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make sausages in puff pastry without yeast in the oven? Prepare your ingredients. The dough is usually sold in sheets, so for this recipe use one. Choose tasty, high-quality sausages of any size.

Step 2

Step 2
Defrost the dough, it is better to do this by transferring it from the freezer to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator — this way defrosting will happen most delicately. Roll out the dough on a table lightly dusted with flour into a rectangle 2-3 mm thick. The size of the finished rectangle will depend on the size of the sausages and their quantity.

Step 3

Step 3
Cut the rectangle into long strips about 1 cm wide according to the number of sausages. The length of the strips depends on the length of your sausages. I had short ones, so I didn’t make the strips very long.

Step 4

Step 4
Remove the film from the sausages. Wrap each with a strip of puff pastry. If the strips turn out to be long, you can wrap them overlapping.

Step 5

Step 5
Beat the egg with a fork until smooth.

Step 6

Step 6
Place the sausages spaced apart on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush the dough with beaten egg so it will brown when baking.

Step 7

Step 7
Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 180°C for 15-20 minutes, until the dough is browned. Serve the sausages hot. Bon appetit!
