Oven-Baked Waffles for a Light and Tasty Breakfast

Lush, airy, delicious, for the whole family for breakfast! Waffles in the oven are suitable for those who do not have an electric waffle-baking device. Here they are baked in special forms and are less fatty, but still very tasty.

Ingredients (10 portions)

Basic:

Salt 0.5 tsp
Sugar 50 g
Wheat flour 250 g
Butter 100 g
Milk 400 ml
Vanillin (on the tip of a knife) to taste
Eggs 3 pc
Dry yeast (fast-acting) 2 tsp

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make waffles in the oven? Prepare your food. In order for the waffles to rise well and remain fluffy, all ingredients must be at room temperature. Remove milk and eggs from the refrigerator in advance. If you haven’t had time to do this, heat the milk and keep the eggs in warm water. Take high-quality, natural oil, without vegetable additives.

Step 2

Step 2
Melt the butter in any convenient way. Pour it into a bowl and cool slightly. Add eggs one at a time and add warm milk. Using a mixer at low speed, mix the products without beating them too much, just stir.

Step 3

Step 3
Add sugar, salt, vanillin, yeast to the sifted flour and mix them. Take the yeast that can be immediately added to the flour; this is indicated on the label. It is important to sift the flour to saturate it with oxygen. Then the waffles will turn out airy and rise well during baking.

Step 4

Step 4
Add flour with additives into the liquid ingredients in parts, and use a mixer to knead a homogeneous, thin dough. The consistency is like thin, fatty sour cream. Let it sit and in the meantime preheat the oven to 220 degrees.

Step 5

Step 5
Place the molds on the wire rack and pour out the dough, hiding the convex squares, but no more, the dough will rise well. I have a form 18x28, cell 8x12.5. There is enough dough for 10 such waffle cells.

Step 6

Step 6
Bake the waffles until lightly golden and the dough has risen and set well. This can be 8-9 minutes, in my oven 13-15.

Step 7

Step 7
Then remove the waffles from the mold, placing them on a baking sheet with the relief facing up.

Step 8

Step 8
Continue baking them for another 4-6 minutes until browned, also at 220 degrees. Remove the finished waffles from the oven and cool slightly. Serve with berries and fruits, sweet and unsweetened berry sauces, whipped cream, yogurt, chocolate chips, and a scoop of ice cream. Bon appetit!
