How to bake a cupcake in a mug in 5 minutes in the microwave? Very simple. Prepare all the necessary ingredients. I used Nutella spread as a filling for the cupcake. If you don’t want to, you can take a piece of chocolate, it will also be delicious.

Sift the dry ingredients through a sieve into a bowl — flour, cocoa powder and baking powder. Choose high-quality cocoa without additives, this may affect the taste of the finished cake.

Break the egg into a separate bowl, pour in the milk and vegetable oil. Wash the egg with a cleaning agent before use, as there may be harmful bacteria on its surface.

Now combine the liquid ingredients with the dry ones. Add in parts, as you may need a little less or more flour than indicated, be guided by the required consistency of the dough.

Mix well with a whisk. The dough should be homogeneous, not very liquid, but not very thick. It should flow slowly from the spoon.

Take a mug with a volume of at least 350 ml so that the cake does not run away during baking; fill it about 2/3 with dough. If you want, you can lightly grease the mug with oil. I don’t do this, the butter is already in the dough and the cake rises perfectly from the mug. Place our filling in the center of the dough — in my case it is a teaspoon of Nutella paste.

The power of my microwave is 800 W. Place the mug with the dough in the microwave and turn it on for 2 minutes. This time is enough for the cake to bake and not become rubbery. If you think that there is not enough time, add literally another half a minute, but no more. And if you have a more powerful microwave, then start with a minute and a half of cooking. Itʼs better not to hold on than to over hold.

Our microwave chocolate cake is ready! I easily took it out of the cup in which it was being prepared into another cup — as you can see, even without greasing the mug, the cake did not stick.
