Ingredients (8 portions)

For the test::

Wheat flour 450 g
Kefir 250 ml
Eggs 2 pc
Dry yeast 10 g
Sugar 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp

For filling::

Cabbage 400 g
Carrot 1 pc
Tomato juice 50 ml
Water 50 ml
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste

How to make fried pies like fluff? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Sift the flour through a sieve in advance to saturate it with oxygen.

To prepare the dough, slightly heat the kefir until slightly warm. Pour it into the bowl in which you will prepare the dough. Break two eggs.

Add vegetable oil, salt, sugar and dry yeast.

Add a couple of tablespoons of flour from the total amount. Mix everything, cover with a towel and place in a warm place for 20 minutes so that the yeast is activated and fermentation begins.

Gradually add sifted flour and knead the dough. Use the amount of flour based on the consistency of the finished dough. It will be soft, elastic and will not stick to your hands. Sprinkle the surface of the dough with a little flour, cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for 1 hour to rise.

While the dough is rising, prepare the filling. Chop the cabbage thinly and place in a hot frying pan with some water. Simmer the cabbage covered for 15 minutes.

Peel the carrots, grate and add to the cabbage. Pour over tomato juice. Sprinkle with salt and ground pepper to taste. Stir and simmer for another 10 minutes, but without a lid, so that excess moisture evaporates.

After an hour in the warm place, the dough will increase in size significantly.

Divide the dough into parts, form small cakes. Place the filling in the center of each, seal the edges and form a pie.

Now stick all the pies on. Make the size of the pies to your taste. Let them sit on the table for 3-5 minutes.

Pour vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and place the prepared pies. Fry them over low heat on all sides until golden brown.
