Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make fluffy coconut cheesecakes? Prepare your food. Take natural, high-quality cottage cheese, without vegetable fat substitutes. The fattier it is, the tastier the cheesecakes will be, but also the higher the calorie content, keep this in mind. Also try not to keep the cottage cheese dry. You can buy ready-made shavings or make them yourself at home by grating coconut pulp.

Step 2

Step 2
Place cottage cheese in a deep bowl, beat in eggs, add sugar. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush. Adjust the amount of sugar to your taste. Mix everything thoroughly.

Step 3

Step 3
Sift the flour and add to the cottage cheese, leaving a little for breading the cheesecakes. Add coconut flakes. Mix everything thoroughly again.

Step 4

Step 4
Leave the mixture to stand for 10-15 minutes so that the flour and coconut flakes absorb excess moisture. That is why it is better to take wet cottage cheese; dry cottage cheese will prevent the mass from clumping.

Step 5

Step 5
Using wet hands, form the resulting mass into medium-sized round cheesecakes. Roll cheesecakes in flour.

Step 6

Step 6
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place cheesecakes on it. Fry them on both sides over low heat until golden brown.

Step 7

Step 7
Serve cheesecakes hot, with sour cream, jam or condensed milk. Bon appetit!
