Pan-Fried Semolina and Cottage Cheese Cheesecakes

A delicious and healthy dessert, just like in childhood! I really love cheesecakes for breakfast with condensed milk or sour cream. Due to the high content of cottage cheese, they are quite healthy. This is exactly the option when it is both tasty and healthy. And when cooked with semolina, they are also very tender. Try it!

Ingredients (3 portions)

Basic:

Sugar 2 tbsp
Eggs 1 pc
Vegetable oil (for frying) 30 g
Soda 1 g
Cottage cheese 200 g
Semolina 4 tbsp
Flour (for deboning) 100 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Break an egg into a bowl for making cheesecakes and add cottage cheese. I use regular, store-bought cottage cheese in a pack. There are no large grains in it, so dishes made from it are very tender. If you take homemade cottage cheese, you need to pass it through a sieve or grind it using a submersible blender to make it more homogeneous.

Step 2

Step 2
Add a little sugar to the curd mass. You can adjust the sweetness to your taste.

Step 3

Step 3
Then add soda and semolina. Mix the whole mass well. The dough for cheesecakes will become quite dense.

Step 4

Step 4
Place some flour in a small plate for dredging. Pour cold water into a mug. Using a wet spoon, take some of the curd dough and place it in the flour. Then roll in flour with your hands and form cheesecakes.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and place the cheesecakes. Fry them for 2-3 minutes on one side.

Step 6

Step 6
Then another 2-3 minutes on the other side.

Step 7

Step 7
Place the finished cheesecakes on paper towels to remove excess oil. For cheesecakes, prepare sour cream, jam or condensed milk. Enjoy your meal!
