Butter (melted, + for greasing flatbreads) 50 g
Eggs (large) 1 pc
Sour cream (20-30% fat content) 150 g
Baking powder 0.5 tsp

In a deep bowl, combine sour cream and egg. Before using, wash the egg in warm water and soda, as there may be harmful bacteria on its surface. Take good quality sour cream without vegetable fats or any fat content. Mix everything with a whisk until smooth.

Melt the butter in a water bath or in the microwave at low power and cool to room temperature. Pour into the egg-sour cream mixture and stir. Add sugar and stir again until the sugar crystals dissolve.

Sift the flour and baking powder through a sieve or using a special mug. Gradually add to the sour cream mixture in several additions. At first, you can mix the dough with a spoon or spatula, and then it will be more convenient to knead with your hands. Be prepared for the fact that you may need less or more flour.

You should get a soft pliable dough. You can let it sit, or you can immediately start working with it.

Roll the dough into a thick sausage and divide it with a special pastry spatula or knife into 5-6 equal parts.
