Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake potatoes with meat, mushrooms and tomatoes in the oven? Prepare your food. Wash all vegetables well, dry and peel. Prepare a baking dish. There is no need to lubricate it with anything. Defrost the minced meat. Cut the potatoes into thin slices and place half in the bottom of the baking dish. Salt and pepper the potatoes.

Step 2

Step 2
Place all the minced meat on the potatoes in an even layer. Salt and pepper it.

Step 3

Step 3
Cut the onion into half rings and place half on top of the minced meat. Set the other half aside, we will add it later.

Step 4

Step 4
Cut the tomato into slices and place on the onion. I do not remove the skin from the tomatoes, but you can do this by pouring boiling water over them. Then the skin will come off easily.

Step 5

Step 5
Season the layers with salt and pepper to taste, but remember that the potatoes will shrink and there may be a surprising amount of salt.

Step 6

Step 6
Slice the mushrooms. I used champignons, but you can also use wild mushrooms for this recipe.

Step 7

Step 7
Place a layer of mushrooms on top of the tomatoes. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 8

Step 8
Remove the core and seeds from the bell pepper. Slice the bell pepper thinly.

Step 9

Step 9
Place the bell pepper on the layer of champignons.

Step 10

Step 10
Place the remaining onions and potatoes in the last layers. Add salt and pepper and fill the mold with milk to a third of the height. If there is more milk, it will boil away, and the potatoes will remain soggy and dry (or burnt). Instead of milk, you can add water or broth.

Step 11

Step 11
Place the potatoes in the oven and cook at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes, until the top is golden and the potatoes are cooked through. Set the time and temperature according to your oven. There are varieties of potatoes that take a long time to cook in the oven. It is better to cover the pan with foil.

Step 12

Step 12
Sprinkle the potatoes with grated cheese and place in the oven for another 10-20 minutes. Bake until golden top.

Step 13

Step 13
Cut this casserole into portions and serve immediately. The finished potatoes can be sprinkled with herbs and fried pieces of bacon.
