Steamed Apple and Raisin Dessert Casserole

This apple casserole can be made without an oven! Steamed apple casserole turns out very tender and tasty. This recipe can be used when you want something for dessert, but don’t have an oven at hand. This happens here (at our dacha). The casserole will appeal to both adults and children.

Ingredients (4 portions)

Basic:

Sugar (or to taste, depends on the sweetness of the apples) 25 g
Apples 2 pc
Wheat flour 15 g
Butter 30 g
Milk 120 ml
Vanillin (on the tip of a knife) to taste
Eggs 1 pc
Raisin 20 g
loaf (crumb) 35 g
Ground cinnamon to taste

Remove the crust from the loaf, leave only the crumb and fill it with milk.

We divide the egg into yolk and white. Mix the yolk with sugar and softened butter.

Grate the apples, peeled and seeded, on a coarse grater.

Combine the yolk-butter mixture with apples, steamed raisins and a pinch of cinnamon.

Add the mashed loaf crumb and mix.

Add flour, mix well.

Add the egg white, gently whipped into a strong foam, and mix until smooth.

Place the resulting mass in a greased pan, place on a pan of boiling water, cover with a lid and cook for about 50 minutes.
