Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake broccoli and cauliflower in the oven? Prepare your food. Cabbage is suitable both fresh and frozen. I advise you to weigh fresh ones after cutting, before they are too heavy.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut the cabbage into florets. This is done very simply — turn the forks over and cut off small heads of cabbage one by one. Now wash the chopped cabbage. Wash it under running water, thoroughly rinsing it from sand and dirt. If you are using frozen cabbage, skip this step.

Step 3

Step 3
Place a pan of clean water on the fire, add a little salt and bring to a boil. Throw the cabbage into the pan. Throw frozen directly from the freezer without defrosting.

Step 4

Step 4
Cook the cabbage over low heat for about 5 minutes.

Step 5

Step 5
Then place it in a colander; the water from the cabbage should drain well so that there is no excess liquid in the casserole.

Step 6

Step 6
Combine the eggs with milk, add salt to taste and beat lightly with a whisk. You donʼt have to hit it hard, you can even use a fork, itʼs not critical.

Step 7

Step 7
Place the cabbage in a baking dish. I lightly greased the bottom and sides with butter, even though the recipe didnʼt call for it. To make the casserole look beautiful, try to place the heads of cabbage with the curly side up.

Step 8

Step 8
Pour the egg-milk mixture over the cabbage. Place the casserole in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for 20 minutes. A few minutes before it’s ready, you can sprinkle the casserole with grated cheese to your taste. This will make it even tastier! Serve sprinkled with fresh herbs. Bon appetit!
