Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make berry jelly with gelatin from frozen berries at home? Prepare the necessary ingredients. You can take absolutely any frozen berries that you have prepared for the winter or bought in the store. I had blackcurrant, raspberry, cherry, blueberry and cranberry.

Step 2

Step 2
First, soak the gelatin according to the instructions on the package. Read more about how to work with different types of gelatin in a separate article at the link at the end of the recipe.

Step 3

Step 3
The berries do not need to be defrosted — they will defrost perfectly during the cooking process. Pour water over frozen berries and bring to a boil. Boil it a little; most of the vitamins will disappear when heated, but at least the broth will be tasty and rich.

Step 4

Step 4
Crush the berries with a masher.

Step 5

Step 5
Now strain the berries crushed in the broth through a sieve, rubbing them well with a wooden spatula or pestle.

Step 6

Step 6
Pour the syrup back into the pan and add the swollen gelatin. Stir the mixture well until completely dissolved and have a uniform consistency.

Step 7

Step 7
Add sugar to taste and heat the mixture well.

Step 8

Step 8
Pour the resulting solution into vases or bowls and leave to cool. Then put the jelly in the refrigerator. The hardening time will depend on the concentration of the solution. Three hours is usually enough

Step 9

Step 9
Berry jelly is ready. Bon appetit!
