Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake pears with cheese in the oven? Prepare your ingredients. Choose ripe and juicy pears, not soft, but not very hard. In addition to brie cheese and cheese with green or blue mold, you can use regular hard cheese, preferably spicy, as well as mozzarella, pickled or for pizza. You can use any nuts for sprinkling the finished dish (they can be replaced with crumbled cookies).

Step 2

Step 2
Cut the chilled cheese (I used brie) into 4 long sticks. It is more convenient to cut cheese from the refrigerator.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash the pears, dry them and cut them in half.

Step 4

Step 4
Using a teaspoon, carefully scoop out the seeds and some of the pulp along the entire length. There should be longitudinal furrows.

Step 5

Step 5
Place a block of cheese in each pear half.

Step 6

Step 6
Top the pears with honey. If you have candied or thick honey, first melt it in a water bath. Wash the thyme and dry it. Remove the leaves from the branches. Sprinkle the thyme leaves over the pears. Place the pears on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake the dish for about 15 minutes at 180°C.

Step 7

Step 7
Sprinkle the finished pears with chopped nuts. An interesting taste will be obtained with salted peanuts. I had crushed peanuts in caramel. It looks beautiful and has a nice crunch. Bon appetit!
