Almond Cherry Crumble Delight

Itʼs best to serve the crumble warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I have been preparing this crumble for a very, very long time. There are no photographs left from that photo shoot. But for several years now I remember that I wanted to cook it again and finally capture it. Now, at the very end of the cherry season, I finally found the time to implement an old recipe.

Ingredients (2 portions)

Basic:

Olive oil 1 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Cereals 80 g
Honey 2 tbsp
Almond (ground) 40 g
Cherry 150 g

Measure out ingredients.

Wash the cherries, dry them, remove the pits.

In a bowl, mix cherries, 1 tbsp. l. honey and lemon juice.

Mix carefully.

Separately mix oatmeal, ground almonds, remaining honey and olive oil.

Mix well.

Place the cherries in a baking dish or in portion molds.

Spread oatmeal-almond mixture evenly on top.

Place the crumble in an oven preheated to 175°C and bake for 10 minutes until a golden crust forms on the surface.
